Welcome!

My name is Annika Horne and I am an award winning filmmaker, actor, and musician from Texas living in New York City. My goal as an artist is to share stories that elevate women's experiences and are grounded in a historical perspective.

My short documentary FLYING IN THE DARK was an official selection of the Austin Film Festival and Brooklyn Film Festival and received the Austin Film Society grant. The film uses lively animation and firsthand accounts to tell the story of women in aviation, from World War II to the present.

I grew up singing country music in Texas and had the amazing opportunity to open for Wynona Judd and perform at venues throughout the country. In New York, I perform regularly as a jazz vocalist at venues across the city including Shrine, Silvana, and Swing 46.

I am a trained actor and won a Young Artist Award for a guest starring role in the series Army Wives.
