I was raised in South Carolina and Texas and now I attend the University of Texas at Austin. I decided to major in Radio-Television-Film at the Moody College of Communication because my dream is to become a feature filmmaker. I have a background in musical theater, country music, and acting. In 2014, I made a guest-starring appearance on the show Army Wives and later won a Young Artist Award from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association for my performance. Shortly after this role, I joined the music production team for the film The Hornet's Nest and co-wrote the song The Last One Home for the original motion picture soundtrack. I have also had the chance to act in Mere et Fille, a film adaptation of a popular sit-com from Disney France.
I was able to use my French skills again in 2017 when I interned with Lionsgate in their sales and marketing office at the Cannes Film Festival. While in college, I have had an amazing time working with others students and creating my own projects. Some of my favorites are on this website's home page. The first film I directed was Mazeppa! and I was thrilled that it was an official selection of the Sight of Sound International Film Festival.
This summer, I have just completed an internship with Lobel Arts, an amazing music management company in Austin, Texas. I also worked in the studio of Graham Reynolds, a gifted and prolific composer for film, television, ballet, and opera. While interning, I directed the music video for his song Cam Stack & Crank Handle from his album The Difference Engine. I had a wonderful time making a piece about such a fascinating historical story.
I am so lucky to have the opportunity to be working in the arts and learning about the film industry all the time! I've been able to work with so many talented people and I am always looking for the chance to collaborate.
